Duties and Responsibilities (Job Description)

Ø  Cable pulling of pair signal cable from Field Instrument to Field Junction Box(JB) and cable pulling of multi pair and multi-core cable from Field Junction box to Marshalling System Cabinet as per cable schedule drawing.

Ø  In charge cable glanding, cable termination, core marking and cable dressing as per termination detailed drawing.

Ø  Assist instrumentation fitter during installation of Junction Box (JB) and installation of cable tray as per cable route layout drawing.

Ø  Calibration and re-ranging of smart transmitters/field instruments to reflect instrument datasheet values and ranges.

Ø  Assist commissioning engineers during loop commissioning and testing of systems and Subsystem equipment.

Ø  Coordinates with the Mechanical Section and other Manufacturing Units for the smooth operation of the plant.

Ø  Calibrates, test, troubleshoots, and repairs/replaces electrical equipment/instruments.

Ø  Check and maintains electrical instruments.

Ø  Assist in monitoring/operating the 69kV substation and the power plant. Ø Assist in editing PLC/MMI ladder diagrams

Materials/Tools/Equipment Used:

Ø  MANUAL/HAND TOOLS ex. screwdrivers, chisels, pliers, socket wrench set, hacksaw, hammers, torque wrench , wrenches, cutters, crimpers, hex key sets, etc.

Ø  PNEUMATIC/AIR TOOLS powered by compressed air ex. drills, polishers, hammers, grinders, wrenches, lubricators, impact driver, clamps, screwdrivers, paint guns, etc.
