Job Description:

This position is responsible for conducting CMS/PMS activities on Power Plant’s main engines and auxiliary equipment upon the instruction of superiors in accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures to ensure a good running condition, safe and efficient operation of all generating units, equipment machines and systems during operation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Establish first “PERMIT TO WORK” as compliance to the company procedures being sign by the shift supervisor/s, the Technician as receiver and persons involve in detail to the scope of before execution of the work itself.

Performs trouble-shooting and repair of such mechanical trouble occurrences on main engines and auxiliary units to ensure continuous operation.

Performs reconditioning of spare parts and re-installations.

Assembles & Dis-assembles auxiliary equipment such as separator purifier, heat exchangers, pumps etc.

Cleans system filters of routable spare parts.

Conducts routine inspection of engine’s system and equipment, checking for leaks and abnormalities.

Cut-in and Cut-out of HFO/LFO Separators, Monitoring and Reset alarms.

Assist Engine Room Operator during start-up and/or shutdown. Operates engine and auxiliary equipment.

Supports and implements the Company’s Safety, Health and Environmental disciplines.

Obey and follow company rules and regulations.

Use of proper PPE’s in the workplace all the time.

Performs other task related to work as assigned by superior from time to time.
