– Verify attendance, hours worked, and pay adjustments, and post information onto designated records.
– Review time sheets, work charts, wage computation, and other information to detect and reconcile payroll discrepancies.
– Compute wages and deductions, and enter data into computers. Compile statistical reports, statements, and summaries related to pay and benefits accounts, and submit them to appropriate departments.

– Perform searches for qualified job candidates, using sources such as computer databases, networking, Internet recruiting resources, job fairs.
– Interview job applicants to obtain information on work history, training, education or job skills.
– Select qualified job applicants or refer them to managers, making hiring recommendations when appropriate.
– Conduct reference or background checks on job applicants.
– Process paperwork for new employees and enter employee information into the payroll system.
– Conduct exit interviews and ensure that necessary employment termination paperwork is completed.
