Process and handle all checks for final payment for terminations
Process and serve as subject matter expert on payroll and HR related compensation and benefits topics. Process and manage statutory and wage assignments, including regular audits to ensure accuracy and respond to inquiries with high level customer service.
Manages the administration of Benefit Programs such as HMO, workers’ compensation, life, disability, and other benefit programs. Monitors, maintains and administers new employee orientation and benefits program and annual open enrollment.
Screens and interviews applicants for employment; analyzes records revealing experience and educational background; recruits applicants; handles employment verification, and/or supervises new hire orientation/onboarding of new employees.
Participates in fringe benefit studies and meetings to maintain and expand medical insurance, life insurance, salary schedule, and Worker’s Compensation Insurance.
Prepares organizational charts, tables, and reports of personnel action activity.
Prepares Monthly Salary Report every month and submits to HR Manager to ensure that the staff salary budget is maintained and strictly adhered to. This report is the actual costing per department on a monthly basis.
Responsible for the preparation of KPI Report (Key Performance Indicator) every quarter to be submitted to the MESA Regional HR & L&D Director. Also includes the preparation of MIS Report (Management Information System) every end of the month and submits to the MIS Manager and Finance Manager. This report is used in finalizing the payroll.

Examines and verifies accuracy of work and authorize routine payments through double checking the amount in Payroll register use in payroll to see the correct payments made for certain payroll period. Transacts business with the banks/financial institutions for the department’s accreditation with them.
Implements efficient working processes and coordinates, assigns and reviews the work of clerks engaged in administering payrolls, accounts payable and receivable from employees, serving customers in banks and other institutions, verifying and recording insurance claims and forms and collecting user fees and payments on overdue accounts.
