• Perform the Insulation Resistance (5-KV dc for 1 minute) and High Potential Resistance (42-KV dc for 15 minutes) on Primary of the Power Transformer, main power cable 1×400 mm (Hipot – 70 KV for 15 minutes) and line checking.
• Supervise the torque tightening of the transformer termination at terminal box of primary and secondary, bus duct connector, bus bar and Neutral Ground/Earth Resistor.
• Perform stability and sensitivity of transformer and real earth fault (REF) test.
• Perform ratio, polarity and knee voltage test for current transformer.
• Perform and check the mechanical interlocks of Medium Voltage Panels.
• Perform the internal interlock and intertrip of the 13.8 KV power transformers to Incomer Vacuum Circuit Breaker (VCB).

• Tends and responsible in Utilities Area to ensure that the process operation is supplied with its process needs.
• Operates and monitors the unloading of imported raw materials (Ethylene Monomer and Butene-1) from the jetty unloading arm to tank farm.
• Operates and monitor the operation of Boil-off-gas (BOG) system, the vaporization and liquefaction of Plant’s main raw materials prior to feed to Polymerization Unit.
• Perform the operation of Purification Unit of raw material to eliminate the impurities of the imported Ethylene monomer to ensure that the Polymerization Reactor will operate efficiently and effectively.
• Perform treatment operation of raw-water (supplied by PPDC) for Treated Water to be supplied in Demineralization, Cooling Tower, and Deaerator for Boiler and treated water for the plant’s utilities station. Treatment operation includes from dozing of chemicals, filtration, recycling and dumping of water sludge up to transferring of treated water to Treated Water Tank. Treatment is done to eliminate the impurities of water prior to use.
• Operates 3-Cooling Tower Coolers and use 4-6.9 KV electric motor pump for the distribution of Cooling Water supply for plant’s heat-exchangers and other process equipment. The operation of Cooling Water discharge is operated via manual/Distributed Control System (DCS)
• Operate the Demineralization Unit via manual/Programmable Logic Control (PLC) regeneration of filtered water to be used in Boiler Feed Water, Polymerization Unit, Extruder Unit, and other process operation equipment.
• Operate the Gas-Oil System (Diesel gas) to supply the Boiler System. Check of the documents from the dealer to ensure the quality of the gas-oil prior to unloading. Check the gas oil by taking sample from the sampling connection and make visual analysis. Connect grounding/earthing to the tanker before unloading the gas oil. Operate the pump and valve to unload the gas oil to plant’s gas oil tank. Operate 2 discharge pumps, one at a time via manual operation.
• Operate the 2-Boiler Unit at 185-200 degree Celsius an produces 8,000 tonnes of steam per hour using LPG as Prime medium of ignition and the main source is the gas oil (diesel oil) operated via manual or Programmable Logic Control (PLC). Using Boiler Feed Water, from demineralized water to Deaerator, water feeds to boiler shell and heated to produce steam. The produced steam is then distributes to the end users.
• Operate IR Instrument Air Package for instrument use.
• Monitor and check of Plant’s process and instrument equipment during operation.
• Performs housekeeping on Utilities Area and control room.
