Insurer in East African and two leading medium-sized insurance brokerage firms. My desire is to continue working in the insurance industry, using my knowledge and experience to promote both economic and social development of those around me whether as clients or colleagues

Responsibilities;
• Acquisition of new business through Bancassurance Channels, amongst other Brokers, Agents
• Maintaining Cordial relationship with our supporters through schedules visitations for gathering marketing intelligence in order to keep abreast of the current market trends and take feedback to enhance sales
• Ensuring smooth, efficient and effective service delivery to customers through interdepartmental coordination on matters affecting the customer
• Providing Strong Leadership and capacity building to the business development officers
• Ensuring that the department renewal retention ratio exceeds the targeted 90%
• Providing timely quotations as per the set service standards and Participating in client portfolio reviews
• Recruiting and developing brokers and agents to achieve maximum production targets to the company
• Developing and maintaining productive relationship with intermediaries through well planned regular visits
• Fostering a good customer relationship management by ensuring that agents, brokers and clients queries are handled appropriately including complaints handling
• Responding to and following-up sales enquiries to ensure a hit ratio as agreed with the Business Development Manager
• Organizing networking functions between intermediaries, underwriting, and claim staff to improve intercompany and personal working relationships that boosts targeted production
Responsibilities;
– Principal Assistant to the Technical Manager and assist him in running the Corporate Department
– • Ensuring quality customer service when attending to clients’ enquiries on telephone email customer service desk and written mails.
• Organizing and conducting customer service meetings
• Receipt of customer quotation requests and ensure negotiation of covers and placement of business with reputable underwriters at best terms
• Handling insurance business renewals for the existing clientele with action work as per the company benchmarks
• Facilitate expeditious claims settlement by reporting documenting and close follow up
• Upholding customer service and account relationships by regular meetings with the client
• Ensuring emerging customer needs are captured and addressed promptly
• Ensuring that new market developments that impact on clients’ portfolio is communicated to respective clients
• Gathering of marketing intelligence and using such information for the benefit of business growth and conservation
