 Act as medicating Nurse, administers medication orally, parenterally, topically as ordered; does eyes, aural, nasal medication instillation, suppository administration and nebulization.
 Administer IV therapy as ordered- IV insertion and re-insertion, calculation of flow rates, use of infusion pumps, giving IV medications by bolus, piggy back or by volume administration sets and blood transfusions.

 Circulating OR nurses work within the operating suite but outside of the sterile field;
 Scrub OR nurses handle and prepare operating instruments and equipment within the sterile field.
