DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

– Revises and updates the care plan according to changes in patient’s condition and doctor order. All new order is implemented in an accurate and timely manner.
– Communicates timely all accurate and relevant information on the patient’s condition to the Head Nurse/Doctor.
– Makes rounds with physicians and acts as liaisons between patients, physicians and family.
– Receives professional working relationship with the unit colleagues and other health professionals in the hospital.
– maintains all time maximum safe environment for the patient, family and staff by checking PPM on apparatus hazard, crash cart, cleaning and disinfection of the rooms, instruments and maintain an environment which prevents spread of infection according to Infection Control and Safety policy and procedure.
– Participates in the orientation and ongoing education of new nursing staff and by providing information and acting as a preceptor as appropriate.
– Participate in own evaluation performance, identifies self-learning needs and attends educational programs to maintain certification and enhance clinical competency.
