Duties and Responsibilities

Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting of all equipment    pertaining to the instrument trade to ensure compliance on all Instrumentation assets that support the safe and efficient operation of the plant
Ensure that all machine are in good condition ,repairing machine such as blowmoulding machine ,PET machine,oil filling line and dressing line in good condition .
Calibrates readings on instruments according to standards and adjusts phasing and aligns stages to ensure accuracy of recording and indicating function.
Records calibrations made, parts and components used, and inventory of parts on hand.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with codes.
Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous.

Install ground leads and connect power cables to equipment, such as motors.
Change bearing of motor and assemble it.

Duties and responsibilities

Measure instrument input and output signals
Maintenance of Buhler packing System, Greif velox packing System and the Kuka Robot system
Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair defective instruments
Tests accuracy of flow meters, pressure gauges, temperature indicators, controllers, counters or detectors, and other recording, indicating or controlling instruments to locate defective components in system, using test equipment,

Prepare ink for presses
Manage ink performance on press
Maintain compliance with regard to storage, mixing, dispensing and handling of inks and solvent
Complete machine changeovers efficiently and according to procedures
Weigh, blend, check, and deliver in a productive, efficient, and safe manner inks to meet the demands of the customer’s production schedule.
Follow appropriate quality control and inspection process for inks to ensure quality to customers.

Prepare and maintain accurate records including finished ink getting to Quality Control, to meet production dates per customer’s schedule, ink adjustments at press, the level of pails and drums on the dispenser and complaints as directed by the supervisor
During production run, notify supervisor/production manager of any nonconformance, equipment failures, raw material specification or quality issues, injuries and/or safety hazards.
Maintain clean equipment and work environment. Perform minor preventative maintenance. Notify maintenance of any necessary significant equipment adjustments or repairs.
Store and label finished product according to job standards.
Complete production run constantly checking quality and conformance standards.
Control and monitor plant and equipment within the scope of authority
Take non-routine field readings diagnostic faults affecting plant condition
Measuring, mixing and chemical to the reaction tanks
Monitoring meter and instrument readings and making necessary adjustment
