Hello,
I’m Khouloud from Tunisia, aged 28 years old, had my diploma on June 2015, with the title of a surgical technician.
My professional career began fifteen days after my graduation, at Myron international polyclinic where i had a really rich experience with orthopedic surgeries, ophthalmology, war surgery, cardiovascular surgeries, and especially plastic surgery wich have been the main specialty of the clinic, therefore i assisted countless plastic surgeries from wich i mention lifting, rhinoplasty, liposuction, abdominoplasty, breast prosthesis, lipo-injection, breast lifting,… Unfortunately this experience was over, and it was because of a personal issue, a disaster!
It took quite some time for me to go back to exercising my profession. But I didn’t waste time doing nothing of course, I can’t stand being worthless. Anyway I dedicated that time learning stuff I wouldn’t learn while working as a surgical technician, like graphic design, logo design, photography and photo editing, writing, as well as business psychology and project management.
As soon as the opportunity was available for me to go back to the job I was educated for, I run into it. This time it was at The new parc polyclinic, where I took my position at a surgical department specialized in gynecology. Here I had my expertise at this field. I assisted all kinds of gynecological surgeries from laparotomies to laparoscopies. Since day one at this department I was titled the best technician between my colleagues, and all surgeons asked for me before even booking the surgery. The word was spread fast and visceral surgeons at the central operating department started asking for the excellent surgical assistant, and for that I had a respectful experience with visceral surgeries.
I love my job and I can never imagine myself quitting it, and as much as I love it, I love my nature of being polyvalent. Therefore I keep doing my best with my planning to achieve a balance between all the things I do out of love, excelling at the profession I had my diploma for, and growing the artist in me with all types of art I could do.
I always look forward to make my impact in a new community.
Khouloud BELTAIF.
Trainee sessions through different specialties, gynecology, visceral surgery, orthopedic surgery, cardiovascular surgery, urologic surgery, pediatric surgery, and nursing.
It was a rich experience where i had the opportunity to challenge myself and be polyvalent, i did sterilizing, i did war surgery as we had war injuries from Libya, i learned the best suturing techniques with plastic surgeries, and could never forget orthopedic surgeries for the challenges it kept bringing.
This experience was full of gynecological surgeries, i felt like specialized in this field since every doctor i worked with kept wanting me to be the technician who assists him every time he comes back even for a biopsy.
