Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Verify and Validate HMIS data collated from Health centers.
2. Transmit the verified and validated data form to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) Data specialist.
3. Ensure proper entry of verified data into the Performance Based Finance portal before the NSHIP coordination meeting.
4. Participate in the performance evaluation of the LGA PHC Department carried out
quarterly by the PIU
5. Work in collaboration with the LGA PHC team and the Result Based Finance (RBF), Technical Assistance in the evaluation of the quality of service delivered by health centers.
6. Ensure the follow up of health facility performance based on statistical data in their LGA of jurisdiction.
7. Compile the monthly activities reports and send them to the State RBF-TA Focal Person who will then submit to the State NSHIP coordinator no later than one day before the monthly NSHIP coordination meeting.
8. Conduct, Coaching and Mentoring Health Facilities on a monthly basis and provide a separate report to the Project Coordinator.
9. Participate in the training of LGA Health workers and Community-Based Organizations (CBOs) and report accordingly. Trainings for CBOs include, but are not limited to, training on counter-verification and on client satisfaction surveys.
10. Participate in the monthly LGA review meeting and submit brief on major decisions.
11. Participate in the conduct of Integrated Supportive Supervision monthly in the health facilities (this is not limited to PBF health facilities alone) and submit the monthly report.
12. Verify the receipt of RBF funds by the beneficiaries and give feedback to the LGA PHC department and PIU These RBF funds include, but are not limited to, subsidies paid to the health facility by State Ministry of finance after validating their production on a quarterly basis.
13. Assist the health facilities to prepare their quarterly business plan
14. Closely follow up on implementation of business plan put in place by Health Facilities.
15. Guide Community Based Organizations to conduct community verification
