I am aiming to broaden my knowledge in my profession on a practical basis. I recently passed the licensure examination to be a certified public accountant in the Philippines and I am looking for an opportunity to put the theories I have learned in use.

I graduated five years of undergraduate accountancy program in Mindanao State University – Main Campus. During these years, I learned valuable virtues as to how a CPA should be in the real corporate world. The education provided by my alma mater did not only prepare me to pass the licensure examination but also the challenges that lies ahead my career. It taught me independence as it is a boarding school, and it also molded me into a more responsible person. These virtues, I believe, are very crucial in being an effective progress contributor in the workplace environment.

Also during my undergraduate, I served two consecutive years as a local-chapter officer of the Junior Philippine Institute of Accountants on top of my demanding academics which shows that I can be efficient in multi-tasking and meeting deadlines. For my on-the-job training, I worked in the Permits & License division of the City Mayor’s Office in Pagadian City, Philippines, giving me a certain know-how in government accounting in its practicality.

Considering my application is an honor and working with you is a privilege. Thank you for your time and I’m looking forward to your positive response.
