    ·        Strict inspection and monitoring of Gas turbine generators, Fuel selection pumps, Gas chamber, Forwarding heater, Activated diesel pipe lines, etc., for possible oil and diesel leak, sound abnormality and unusual smoke accumulation during test critical period or test firing.

    ·        Implement work permit procedure that may pose at risk condition of the Gas Turbines. Switchgear area, Crude oil building, Electrical building. And all energized transformers (No Permit No Work Rules).

    ·        Ensure that all workers are prevented to work near energized high voltage or any other electrically- live equipment’s, unless there is a final written approval from Safety Department/Engineers in- charge.

    ·        Ensure that access/exit routes are not obstructed or are clearly provided especially during the critical test firing period.

    ·        Implement safe working condition during High Pot & Fire Alarm testing of 132kV-14.2kV Transformers.

    ·        Submit safety statistics reports, daily observations, near misses, written risks assessment and conduct tool box talk meetings prior to any work, so that seriousness of identified hazards shall be rectified without  any delay.

    (Yard Activities)

    ·        Implement safety on the installation of above ground three-storage diesel tanks (Gas service station cap.6, 000 gallons/tank) with steel piping system, concrete dike and drainage tank to hold accidental discharge of liquid from the largest tank volumetric content.

    ·        Construction monitoring of a 2-storey steel-made workshop for the repair and maintenance services of heavy equipment; rooms of employees; storage of tools and materials, space for flammables (paint, thinner, varnish, oil and lubricants, etc.)

    ·        Inspection for all the subcontractors provided workshops for the correct collection and disposal of used hydraulic oils, cleaning of equipment’s, storing of tools inside and materials filling outside on their outdoor lay-down areas.

    ·        Mobile crane operation (40 to 300 tons) for loading, unloading and laying of concrete pipes, steel pipes, reinforcing steel bars and steel-made shuttering boards for large underground tanks and wall bridges.

    ·        Strict monitoring for all heavy earth moving machines from site speed limit, machines daily inspection records, mobile crane inspection certificates (for visual , functional & load test) Operators licenses & medical cards, equipment’s registrations and availability of clean and enough welfare facilities on site.
