Job Description:
Gathers, analyses and codes appropriately based on WHO’s ICD-10 diagnosis codes and OPCS 4.6 procedure codes and works as a team to support with the backlogs of uncoded notes to code them fast and 99% accurate necessary to meet the deadline of submission of statistics to the Department of Health. Coding is necessary and serves as a basis for the HRG(Health Resource Group) payment by results(PBR) to be claimed by NHS Trust from patient’s health insurances and to private patients as well.
