Responsibilities

–       Report to Asset Head or Maintenance Manager.

–       Ensures all assigned equipment is continually maintained at the highest standards, resulting in proper functionality and minimum failures.

–       Maintenance, Troubleshooting, and overhaul of Gearboxes, centrifugal Pumps, air screw & N2 reciprocating Compressors, and.

–       Disassembly, assembly and reconditioning of Rotating Equipment with machined spares parts which unavailable at warehouse.

–       Review and recommend spare part, non-stock material and tools requirement to facilitate proper plant maintenance

–       Ensure safety of personnel and equipment through compliance with EHS policies, procedures and standard. Plan and supervise rotating machinery & reliability group activities

–       To ensure all rotating machinery maintenance jobs are safely executed.  In order to achieve targeted level of facilities availability & reliability within the budget stewardship.

–       This including preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance for all rotating equipment located in Utility, LNG Train, Helium Plant and Sulfur Recovery Unit.

–       Coordinating activities with machinery & reliability engineer, operation supervisor and liaise with other maintenance supervisors.

–       Review equipment history and performance, contribute to plan failures investigation and make recommendations for improvement. Liaise with operation and integrity inspector to ensure equipment is retained in good functional order all times.

–       Working along with machinery & reliability engineers in establishing priorities according to maintenance plan and providing technical advice as company needs.

–       Keep abreast of new developments, work practices, engineering standards and codes of practice.

–       Daily meeting with operation and machinery reliability engineer to discuss work programs and to monitor equipment performance.

–       Review maintenance procedures regularly to ensure cost effectiveness and operation efficiency.

–       Participate in planning major maintenance jobs and train shutdowns.

–       This including identify specific item of equipment requiring maintenance.

–       Supervise of rotating equipment overhauling job. Provide technical advice and support during equipment starts up.

–       Focus on long term objectives such as eliminating repeat failures, conducting risk assessments and developing machinery turnaround work scope.
