2016 Chief Health Officer (CHO), Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC)
§ Led a team of 400 technical staffs comprising doctors, food & sanitary inspectors, veterinarians, field supervisors and insecticide sprayers and flawlessly managed the overall Urban Health and Hygiene in DSCC area.
§ Contributed to services improvement of 38 Urban Primary Health Centers (under ADB aided UPHCP) as its Program Manager and thoroughly managed standard general and maternal health within city dwellers’ satisfaction.
§ 100 % achievement in doing Birth and Death registration of city population.
§ Led a technical team to successfully contain and control the vector borne disease (Lowered the House Index of Aedes mosquito larva below 20 % in peak season by an Anti-Mosquito crush program in 2016).
§ Led the veterinarian team and implemented 40 % mass dog vaccination and male dog sterilization for Rabies prevention program.
§ Led the Food Inspectors team to regularly collect randomly desired food samples from city market for testing at DSCC owned modern food testing laboratory, took health & legal steps on adverse results to sustain food security and food hygiene, thereby controlled food and water borne disease in city area.
§ Achieved almost 94 % coverage of Expanded Program of Immunization (EPI) in all city hospitals and vaccine centers.
