JOB RESPONSIBILITY AS ACCOUNTANT
· Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
· Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year-end close.
· Ensure the timely reporting of all monthly financial information.
· Work with the Controller to ensure a clean and timely year end audit.
· Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.
· Ensure the monthly and quarterly Bank Compliance activities are performed in a timely and accurate manner.
· Support budget and forecasting activities.
· Collaborates with the other finance department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.
· Monitors and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
· Established and Set-up Manual Accounting System and formulates systems improvements from Journal Entries, Subsidiary Ledgers, & Trial Balance to Sets of Financial Statement (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cost of Goods Manufactured, Cash Flows Statements and Notes to Financial Statements).
· Set up Accounting Policies.
· Set up Chart of Account or Account Title
· Prepare Schedules like:
Analytical Review Analysis, Bank Reconciliation, Property, Plant & Equipment, Inventory, Aging of Receivables and other schedules for major accounts.
· Salary / Payroll Computation of Foreign managers.
· Responds to inquiries from the Director of Finance, Controller, and other finance and firm wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests and the like.
· Supervise the general ledger group to ensure all financial reporting deadlines are met.
· Assist in development and implementation of new procedures and features to enhance the workflow of the department.
· Work with each direct report to establish goals and objectives for each year and monitor and advised on the progress to enhance the professional development of staff.
· Advises staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.
· Provide training to new and existingstaff as needed.
· Handle personnel issues relating to staff conflicts, absenteeism, performance issues, etc.
· Support Controller with special projects and workflow process improvements.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY AS COMPLINACE OFFICER
· Develop, initiate, & revises policies & procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program.
· Collaborates with other departments to direct compliance Issues to appropriate channels for investigation & resolution.
· Respond to alleged violation of rules, regulations, policies, & standards of conduct.
· Provides reports on the operation & progress of compliance activities.
· Institutes & maintains a compliance communication program.
· Attend and assist to vendor/buyer social compliance audits & factory evaluation.
· Educates factory employees about local labor standards and compliance requirements.
· Monitor factory compliance in area of local labor standards, health and work safety, and environmental protection
