Brazil ResearchgateI have a multidisciplinary background first, I graduated Licenciado en fisica from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), ‘Licenciado en fisica’ is an undergraduate course of five years and it provides a very broad view of several fields in physical sciences with special training in mathematical methods and experimental design. After that, I did a Master’s degree in Hydraulic Engineering from Universidad Central de Venezuela (UCV), (Caracas, Venezuela), finally, I obtained a Ph.D. in Applied mathematics from The University of Nottingham, UK. I am a Venezuelan Scientist, a University Professor and a Family man. I have considerable experience in the subjects of applied physics and applied mathematics obtained working for over 26 years at the Department of Applied Physics of the Universidad Central de Venezuela. During my time at the Universidad Central de Venezuela, I had trained many students in the fields of Engineering and applied sciences besides I had supervised several Master`s theses in Applied and Theoretical Mechanics. Also, I have held different administrative positions such as coordinator of some of the undergraduate courses of applied physics, head of the Department of applied physics and head of the Institute of Fluid Mechanics.
