Experience

Has been working as Bio Medical Engineer at Kulsum International hospital Islamabad (60 bed state of the art hospital located at the centre of Islamabad) since December 2011.

Key Responsibilities:

Corrective maintenance of various equipment of  Cath Lab, ICU, CCU, OR, ER  departments within the hospital compound.

Updating end users and generating feedback about the
corrective measures taken for equipment which are not
functional for more than 24 hours.

Calibration of Bio Medical equipments as per schedule.

Liaising with vendors for intended services and spares.

Minimizing downtime in all the processes involving
biomedical engineering services.

Updating reporting authority daily for the all hospital departments.

Minimizing cost of repair and services.

Maintaining and controlling a technical data base for all equipment in the hospital.

Providing status updates, statistics and monthly reports as required by the hospital administration.

Networking of medical equipment including DICOM.

Specialties:

·       Exclusive experience of working on Cath lab, Fluoroscopy, X-Rays, CR and ultrasound systems.

·       Hands on experience of Temporary Pacemakers(Medtronic,Pace medical), Defirbrillators, Holter recorders ,ECG machines ,ETT machines ,patient monitoring system and balloon pumps.

Installation, maintenance of Toshiba Angiography, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy units and CR units as well as customer support for these units.

Visiting customer against complaints within minimum response time.

Maintaining and controlling a technical data base for all equipment under contract or sold by the company maintaining accuracy of all records in line.
