- Reviewing the practical training schedules for the industry to ensure that it meets the technological changes and if necessary recommend adjustments, abolition or redesignation.
- Conducting periodic and terminal assessment of apprentice performances
- Appraise facilities for the purpose of apprenticeship training, trade testing and licensing of non government vocational and technical training institutions
- Continuously monitoring of the facilities and operation of training centers established in company premises registered for training activities to ensure that the operations meet the necessary statutory requirements for professional training.
- Managing the training of Hotel and Catering apprentices in the region.
- Considering the costs of planned programs (Trade testing commodities) and keeping within budget
- Moderating Practical Trade Test for the Hotel and catering Industry
- Developing effective induction programs for apprentices
- Setting and moderating of the theory Trade Test for the Hotel and Catering Industry
- Classification of skilled workers in the Hotel and Catering Industry
