WORK HISTORY
Health Volunteer at Miklah, Uganda (Jan 2020 to Current)
Miklah is a starting not for profit organization with core values in entrepreneurship and health among young people.
Roles
Developing fundable project proposals for the organization
Coordinate all field visits including preparation and mobilization of materials and equipment needed at the field sites
Designing of Information Education Communication (IEC) materials for all projects

Research Assistant backup with Infectious Disease Institute (IDI) of Makerere University (Dec 2019)
I worked closely with a team of research assistants to collect data from health care facilities TB registers (2018 data) for various health centers in Mukono district. I used Dhis2 mobile application to enter TB data from the TB registers.
Planning and Evaluation Officer at Raising The Village (RTV) Organization (May 2019 to December 2019)
I worked in the Planning and Evaluation office with RTV at Kisoro office. Raising The Village (RTV) is an international organization operating in Southwestern Uganda to lift village communities out of poverty. My duties in P&E office included;
Mobilization of community members in enumeration areas in preparation for data collection
Preparation of materials and other tools required to collect data for evaluation purposes
Training of research assistants for project evaluation studies
Participation in data collection for assessing project impact
Participate in data analysis and preparation of project reports to be submitted to the director and funders
Working closely with finance office to ensure timely payment of research assistants and procure project requirements
Ensuring timely delivery of project materials in areas where they are required

Research Assistant with Raising The Village (RTV) organization, Kisoro district (July to Sept 2019).
Raising The Village (RTV) is an international organization that partners with last mile, rural communities to help them move out of ultra-poverty. I worked in a team of 17 data collectors to collect data on household agricultural income, water and health. This survey was spearheaded by the Planning and Evaluation department of RTV organization and was aimed at updating the progress of the development projects under implementation by the organization.
Roles
Assist in the development of data collection schedules, contact data collection sites, introduce and explain the study objectives.
Participate in data collection and management related trainings
Participate in the design of data collection tools
Travel to field sites to collect household based data by conducting face to face interviews as appropriate to specific objectives of the study using tablets

Conduct community diagnosis in selected communities to establish the state of health and identify community needs.
