Interpreter/Translator & Afghan Logistic Specialist (ALS) at MOI-TECH-UAGS-OTTS.COM (US Forces)
Main Responsibilities:
Train and mentor the ANDSF in logistics and sustainment functions.
Assist and advise the ANDSF with program management type processes
Assist in coordinating logistics information, to include CoreIMSEE
Provide individual translation for coalition and ANDSF personnel to ensure a clear and succinct line of communication to all groups
Frequently interact with USG mentors to inform of factors hindering effective training.
Serve as CoreIMSEE subject-matter experts
Monitor CoreIMSEE server to troubleshoot and assist with resolution

Main Responsibilities:
Translate a range of documents/ materials in accordance with the needs of the project and administration (these may include MPS-AF materials, documents, newspaper articles, policies, minutes of meeting, PowerPoint presentations, contracts, agreements, project proposals, reports, letters, legal briefings and etc.) from Farsi/Dari to English language and vice versa.
Read, revise, and check grammar, coherence of translated materials.
Provide agro-technical translation with quality both in Dari competently.
Provide final version of the translated documents in standard MPS-AF format.
Assist with interpreting when required for Senior Management of the unit.
Carrying out other tasks assigned by the supervisor in accordance with the incumbent skills and availability.
Complying with all applicable MPS-AF laws, regulations and requirements and report suspected violations to the supervisor and/or MPS-AF as soon as identified.
