JOB DESCRIPTION

 

§   Follows all company/ department rules, regulations and SOP’s at all times.

§   Conducts calibration and inspection of all measuring instruments in the plant.

§   Conducts servicing and repair of different measuring instruments and other electrical equipment.

§   Conducts servicing of motors (bearing replacement)

§   Conducts basic internal trainings regarding Electrical or instruments fields.

§   Participates in 5’s of substation 66kv and 11kv and other electrical room premises.

§   Participates in preventive maintenance activities during shutdown (boiler overhaul).

§   Performs troubleshooting of any electrical and instrumentation problems.

§   Reports all problems and abnormalities observed and encountered to his managers

§   Attends to emergency call anytime whenever his service is needed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

§   Technical calibration based on Standards and Procedures;

§   Supervised the technicians activities

§   Responsible at all in-house calibration such as transmitters, using standard instruments (Heart field communication protocol).

§   Conducts preventive, corrective and sustaining maintenance activities

§   Knowledge in operation, electrical to mechanical repairs

§   Helps and contributes ideas for any revisions of important documents such as Standards and Procedures;

§   Maintenance on utility and other related electrical wirings;

§   Experienced in motor trouble shooting, control valves, motorized valve etc. hard wiring, and other electrical and instruments problems

§   Maintenance, lubrication and servicing different types of solenoid valves etc.

§   Participates during Boiler shutdown;

§   Participate during commissioning of Bio Gas Engine.

§   Knowledgeable in boiler operation process.
