2.      EDUCATION BACKGROUND

Ø  2009 – 2011: ADVANCED DIPLOMA IN ANESTHESIA from Kigali Health Institute/Rwanda, now it is called College of medicine and health sciences in University of Rwanda.

Ø  2001-2005: A2 diploma (certificate) of secondary school education in nursing sciences.                                                    School: Groupe Scolaire Don de Dieu Remera-Rukoma.

3.      WORK EXPERIENCE

–          Children surgery international mission in Ethiopia from 7 to 17 November 2019.

–          January 2019 – now : Anesthesist in Kabgayi Eye Hospital

Duties include: preanethesia visit, administering  and managing general anesthesia in children from 2 months and above for ophthalmic examination, eye surgeries, and in adult, monitoring of the recovery , drug and equipment management , cleaning anesthesia equipment , etc

–          2012 – 2018 : Anesthetist in Kibilizi district hospital/ Rwanda.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

*preanesthesia visit: taking vital signs, medical history, surgical history, laboratory investigations, consent form signed, etc

*I give and manage general anesthesia in adult and in children from 2 years and above

*spinal anesthesia in adult

*medication and equipment management: requisition, transport, storage, billing, inventory, etc

*manage intravenous line

*resuscitation of neonates with law APGAR score,

*I give help for placement of difficult intravenous catheter in neonatology, emergency and pediatric services,

*general resuscitation in hospital

*transport of critically ill patient to referral hospital,

* cleaning anesthesia equipment

*monthly reporting of anesthesia statistics, etc

–          2006 – 2008 : nurse A2 in Nyarusange health center/Rwanda.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES: primary curative consultation of patient, minor surgery, nurse in charge of PMTCT, nurse in Antiretroviral therapy, nurse at health post , nurse in charge of community health workers , etc
