Project Responsibilities
Under supervision of the Site HSE Supervisor, responsible for over site of daily activity the implementation of programs, policies, procedures and processes in support of the Safety, Health and Environmental strategies.
Ensuring site activities such as Excavations, Heavy lifting, Height works, and hot works, etc… In a safe manner.
Preparing JSA & Risk Assessment Reports
Arrange Safety Induction courses for new staff at Project levels.
Inspection of Electrical equipment, Distribution boards / substations, Electrical cables
Checking & examining of all safety equipments and Fire fighting equipments.
Checking of Third party certificates and checklist of all heavy Equipments, and lifting tools and tackles.
Ensuring the following of colour code for all lifting tools and tackles as client requirements.
Advice and assist while preparing plan for the Rigging and heavy Lifting operations.
Maintaining the record of findings, audits and actions taken to achieve a safe workplace.
Attending Tool Box Meetings, Weekly Walk Through, and Meetings etc to review the site conditions and implementing the new methods for maintaining the Site HSE plan.
Obtain training in relevant to project requirements for construction activities(Permit to Work, Confined Space Entry, Accident & Incident Reporting, Authorized Gas Tester etc.) to allow them to be more effective in their inspection activities.
Be fully conversant with all Local Health and Safety at work regulations.
Conducting Gas Test prior to the Entry in Confined Space and monitoring the conditions and requirements for the entry into the Confined Space.
Follow up of Sub-Contractors for maintaining a Good House Keeping, Waste Minimization, permitting assistance, hazardous material compliance, spill response planning, and other HSE tasks.
Submitting Daily reports and STARRT cards to HSE Supervisor and Superintendent.
Investigation of all accidents and preparation of injury reports.
To promptly investigation regarding the cause & identify accident prone workers.
Well experienced in looking after the site affairs like camp installation, making   arrangements to the employees in terms of accommodation and food.
Regular in terms of implementing safety programs like Safety induction, Tool box talks, LOTO, SATA, HAZAN, HAZOP etc.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Appreciated by client (Tabreed) and company (Emirates CODE contracting company LLC) several times for implementing Absolutely Safety, Achieving 1 million hours LTI Free at  District Cooling Plant site 08/14/36E in Dubai and abu Dhabi
