Weather Observer at Gander International Airport

Giving accurate, up to date weather reports to Environment Canada. Primary responsibilities are recording sky condition and all observed weather phenomena for hourly reports as well as well special reports which denote any significant changes. Tasks involved are regular measurements of precipitation and keeping very close watch on weather conditions and instrument readings.

Cleaning and clearing up dishes/appliances used in food preparation was the first task of shift. My main responsibility was constant washing of dishes as required and ensuring steady flow of operation and organization of dishpit area. Changing garbage as needed, and daily cleaning of kitchen area.

 

Warehouse & Overnight Merchandise Stock at Toys R Us

Part of the night shift team in the months leading up to Christmas, which was responsible for re-stocking, and merchandising products in the storefront.

Warehouse work involved unloading shipping container of store merchandise, then sorting and preparing it for placement in the appropriate storefront section or warehouse storage area. Other tasks included assembling display models of popular products, customer carry outs, and regular cleaning.

Handled the feeding, grooming, of several cats within a adoption shelter environment. Cleaning and maintaining the pet environment up to three times daily, and overseeing the adoptions of incoming pets were my primary responsibilities.
