Thirteen years’ experience (Saudi Arabia); Retail, wholesale, marketing activities and market
situation.
As a retail and operation manager, responsible for running retail outlets, that is including large luxury items showrooms as independent shop or chain of shops.
The day-to-day work always depends on what the showrooms sells with full customer satisfaction.
However, my typical duties includes: managing and motivating staff, making sure that showroom or
department meets sales targets, managing stock levels, analyzing sales figures and forecasting future Sales and dealing with
takings. A part from these specific tasks, as part of my duties to continually look for ways to increase sales and improve efficiency, with full awareness of what our competitors are up to, as well market trends
and customer expectations. Customer related issues are also my concern, from ensuring standards for quality, customer
service and handling complaints and queries very professionally.
Also I am involved in recruiting and training new staff of organizing special, displays and events.
