·        The Healthcare Assistant is designed to aid in the management of an entity involved in the healthcare environment such as medical practices, home health agencies, medical billing services, and others.  It facilitates entry level task such as patient records keeping including maintenance of ledgers and claims forms preparation without duplication of data entry as can be experienced in manual systems. With its electronic billing capability, it can send claims to major third party payers directly or to most insurance carriers indirectly through clearing houses.  It keeps track of accounts receivables from the patient and third party payers. From its data banks, it produces reports essential to any agency as required by outside regulatory agencies to maintain licenses, certifications, or for other purposes.  For agencies requiring customized reports, the Healthcare Assistant is designed for these needs – either through export of its report files into popular spreadsheets or through third party report generators.

·        Part of a programming team that analyze, design and develops the entire system to be used by the head office and other branches named as TARS.  The system is developed in Visual Basic 6.0 as its front end and using MS SQL Server 2000 as its back end.  The system also uses Crystal Report 8 for the report requirements.

Brief Description of Project:

·        The RLWin System module facilitates processing of inventory of the supermarket.  It automates the marketing and billing system of the supermarket. This system keeps the information related to the management of the supermarket. These includes product, staff, stock, sale and purchase information, current business status or business status of certain period, billing system, order details, transaction report, etc. This project mainly focuses on easing the daily tasks of a supermarket. This project is the combination of database management system, management information system and local networking. A shared resource that includes the database are accessed simultaneously by the different users i.e. cashiers and managers at different corner of the supermarket.

 

Role and Responsibilities:

·        Analyze and resolves bugs encountered in the program to ensure that the system is parameter driven such that it will comply with the customer’s requirements.

·        Develop the program that would act as an interface between RLWIN DATA and SAP DATA using Visual Basic 6 as front-end and SQL Server 7.0 as its backend.

·        Developed programs based on the technical specifications laid out by the Technical Support Analyst using Visual Basic as front-end and SQL Server as its back-end on a Windows NT Server environment.

·        It makes extensive use of stored procedures as server- side objects and the design and implementation of the front end makes use of ActiveX components/servers.

·        Established test data guidelines, scripts and processes to ensure quality unit and system testing prior to implementation. Developed application that provides facility for generating reports done in Crystal Report 8.

·        Conducted user interviews to gather information and detail requirements.

·        Monitored systems/programs performance, ensuring all project objectives were met. Analyzed and identified the information and formulated the design flaws, system specification, timetable, system testing and fallback procedures.

·        Tested and debugged programs developed.
