Specific Duties and Responsibilities

1. Preparation of 2 weeks look ahead schedule of the project to be followed during the full construction works.

2. Prepare request for manpower, equipment’s & materials needed on site and follow-up the facilitation of the same to meet the scheduled requirement’s according to the program of works.

3. Responsible for the daily supervision, allocation and monitoring of manpower, equipment’s & materials which is deemed necessary for the project.

4. Prepare Daily Site Records specifying the activities, manpower, equipment and materials allocation for each item of works, weather conditions and any problems encountered on site for the day and submit the same to the Planning Department for proper reporting to Main Office and to Clients as required.

5. Ensure that the works to be done should be in accordance with the standard plans & specifications.

6. Coordinate with the engineering & design department for any verification on plans, measurements and the necessary detailing.

7. Prepare RFI and coordinate with QC inspector and client’s representative for the approval of request completed works.

8. Responsible for the safety of workers, materials & equipment’s on site.

9. Coordinate with the planning & cost control engineer for the updating of scheduled program of works.

10. Supervise and assist subcontractors for the daily activities and requirements necessary for the project.

11. Liaise with other trades (Electrical, I&C and Mechanical Department) in relation to the required sequence of work.

12. Verify and sign timesheets of workers including overtime request prior to approval by the Project Manager.

13. Closing of the project’s punch lists or snag lists and prepares ECC & PAC packages for each blocks or work completed as per requirement of the client.
