Working as a Safety Supervisor/Superintendent for over twenty (23) years since 1995 up to present.
Already involved in different field of safety and various construction projects in the Philippines local and abroad detailed as follows:

SITE SPECIFIC DUTIES

• Provide advice and counsel to all employees regarding compliance with site safety requirements of
the project.
• Supervised the preparation of various safety signs and installation of safety barricades safety slogans banner, smoking shelters as required inside the worksite.
• Team leader in facilitating safety inspection for all lifting gears, portable power and hand tools, safety harness and etc. in quarterly basis.
• In – charge in coordination with sub-contractors basic safety procedures.

• Monitoring construction activities such as excavation, working at heights, fabrication of spools,
steel structure, pipe, mechanical erection, hot works, insulation, sand blasting, hydro/pneumatic test.
• Attend weekly inspection for equipment and review lifting plan
• Monitor and contribute to daily and weekly pre-job meeting and TBM at site
• Team leader for pilot committee in traffic and housekeeping and PTW/LOTO.
• Participate in commissioning stage and start up activities such as air blowing, steam blowing, water flushing, testing of rotating equipment like compressor, pumps, motor, fans, blowers, gas turbine, boiler, purging of nitrogen, air conditioning units, firefighting equipment, energized of sub-station and other electrical system.
• Ensure the proper shutdown procedure was being carried out; lock out tag out for de-energized power source.
• Secured and reviewed specific permits for live plant and other specific works such as lifting, hot work, lock out tag out permit, confined space permit etc.
• Recommend corrective actions through pro-active job supervision initiate the cessation of work if a safe areas where there is eminent danger and stipulate necessary measure to take, to the permit resumption of work.
• Carry out site surveys to see it that only safe work methods are in operation, that health and safety requirements are being observe and that the welfare and first aid facilities are adequate and properly maintained.
• Conduct daily surveys of construction operations to ensure compliance with client/government safety standards and regulations. Identify safety defects and initiate corrective measure by responsible supervision.
• One of in – charge for signing commissioning permit and to ensured that Permit to Work System are being followed and strictly implemented at all times
• Conducted site inspection before commissioning work commences to ensure all safety precaution required were followed.
• Ensure that commissioning activity was properly coordinated to local operator to prevent any miscommunication and mishaps.
• Ensure that affected area during commissioning was properly controlled barricade and signage’s
installed.
