Duties and Responsibilities:

For SALES:

1. Record and encode day-to-day sales report of each department. (Front Office – check-ins of guests, Restaurant – meals & Marketing – for the events held in the hotel)
2. Receive and record cash and check deposits of each sales report.
3. Deposit all cash and checks in the bank.
4. Record and encode all Sales on account.
5. Monitor and provide information on Sales of the company at the end of the month.
6. Provide clerical and administrative support to management as requested.
7. Collect payments for the receivables and issue receipt.
8. Maintain an orderly accounting filing system.
9. Prepare the withholding tax (Philippine taxation) for every purchase made with regular suppliers whether on account or cash.
10. Input all the value added tax imposed for every purchase made

For EXPENSES:

1. Record and encode all expenses incurred by the company whether cash or on account.
2. Take all reasonable discounts on suppliers’ invoice
3. Prepare checks to pay suppliers’ invoice in a timely manner.
4. Monitor debt levels
5. Tag and monitor fixed assets.
6. Comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements
7. Issue income statement
