DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
 Ability to identify kinds of pipes.
 Ability to determine proper length of pipe needed in different system with
appropriate fittings.
 Installation of spools and supports. Installation of pressurized pipes in pumps
and compressors doing alignment, punch listing and hydro testing.
 Able to read and interpret piping prints/ drawing and written specifications
and apply the information to installation or repair of sophisticated piping
system.
 Knowledge to measure, calculate and sketch piping of all sizes in such a
manner that the pipe can be fabricated for installation.
 Fit up and erection and installation of pipe spool at pipe rack and module
related jobs directed by the foreman or supervisor.
 Ability to prepare lay out, cutting beveled end, fit up spool according to the
given take off, dimension, orientation.
