·Provide 24/7 Customer Support for pre sales, Site survey, installation and qualification  of company PLC control  systems , equipments, and OEMs specifically  for Dynamic Positioning and Control system of the vessels for Singapore based customers and other Asia-Pacific locations. These encompass but not limited to the following:

Site survey of vessels for compatibility with company PLC systems including most feasible systems equipment locations,power and signal cables needed and their corresponding locations, signal and power distribution units/box locations,serial data distribution units mounting walls location,correct equipments were sent from U.S. main manufacturing office and layout,compatible vessel power distribution systems  among others.
On board the vessel,  actual installation of the control systems including laying out and pulling the corresponding signal/power cables towards the control system equipments.  Ensure that cables used follow the cable specifications as was predetermined.
On board the vessel termination of the signal(NMEA,RS232/422/Ethernet/peripheral) and power supply cables to their corresponding control system equipments specifically Signal processing units(SPUs), Serial Distribution Units(SDUs),System Controllers/CPUs et al
· Investigate electrical/electronic failures on the field.  Part of jobscope is following vessels on drydock or anchorage across Asia-Pacific(Australia,Indonesia,Malaysia,Thailand,China) to rectify and address DP control  system issues and customer concern/inquiries.

· Layout, Design, Establish and Maintain Local area networks(LAN) and satellite communication on board vessels and ensure control system equipments in tip top shape.  Always ensure All navigational aids and vessel management systems must be interconnected and best possible condition.

· Very familiar with on board vessel Rockwell Automation and Networking Softwares like RSNetworx, RSLinx, RSLogix among others.  Deep experience in installation and operation of PLC I/O  modules/Ethernet adapters from Allen Bradley,Omron among others.

· Accompany vessels for overseas/on sea testing and qualifications for company DP systems on board  like FMEA, Dead Reckoning and ABS sea trials among others.

· Assigned as Shift A.M.(Annual maintenance) leader in charge of shift maintenance activities of different machines to ensure mechanical, pneumatic and electrical parts of machines are in tip-top condition and production downtime is eliminated.
