I am writing to apply for the Position of Leadman / Foreman. I was a Steel Structure Inspector (QA-QC) my current Position on my last Employment. I enclose my resume and three references at ARAMCO an approval letter.
I have almost 20 years of extensive experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power and Industrial Plants, involving Engineering and Construction. The comprehensive experience includes:
• Preparation of Quality Control Procedures (QCP) and Inspection & Test Plan (ITP)
• Preparation of Pre-commissioning Test Packages for Piping
• Preparation of Vendor Inspection Assignment Packages
• Material and Equipment Inspections
• Inspections on Structural Piping and Equipment systems installations.
• Responsible for the Planning and Scheduling of site construction activities and through the execution where required the development of revisions to plan to incorporate scope changes and to minimize cost and schedule over- run.
• Prepare detailed weekly and monthly progress reports to Management and to the client. The report must be accurately reflecting all aspect of the project with regards to performance and any matters arising thereof.
• Initiation and distribution of procurement specifications, Preparation distribution and review of record drawings, process control drawings, shop and fields and testing checklist and when required shop record drawings.
• Responsible for the execution and overall monitoring and control of construction activities and ensure implementation of method of statement and compliance with HSE procedures.
• Responsible for execution and overall monitoring for the following activities.
1. The erected piping will be checked for correct elevation, co-ordinates and alignment before welding as per approved drawing/documents.
2. The pipe joints will be welded as per approved WPS after fit-up inspection.
3. Pre / post weld heat treatment and non-destructive testing shall be conducted according to QC requirements.
4. The pipe support during erection will be check for correct type and location.
5. All stainless-steel pipes, spools, materials shall be separated from non-stainless materials.
6. Correct type rating, orientation and flow direction of valves as per approved drawing shall be ensured during erection.
7. The proper type, rating and size of gaskets, bolts and nuts shall be ensured during erection.
8. Flange surfaces shall be cleaned by cotton cloth/plastic wire brush with suitable solvent to remove any foreign material.
9. Studs shall be centered between nuts so that equal number for threads shall project each end, Torque tightening will be done as per torque tightening procedure.
10. All small-bore piping including vent and drain piping shall be installed on completion of main piping works unless management deems otherwise.
11. Field route and as built information shall be mark on isometric drawings.
The above experiences include Supervision of all on-site Structural and Piping Installation Erection and engineering related works and activities including closed liaison between subcontractors, clients and local authorities.
