During my tenure there, I served as form teacher for Grade 11 for three years, and taught English Language to Grade 11 students, with a minimum 93% success rate in external examinations. I also taught English Language and Literature to students in years 7 to 11, and served as staff advisor for the Media and Journalism Club, the Student Council, as well as being a member of the school’s Communications Committee which had direct responsibility for producing “The Munronian” magazine and other publications.

I also served as supervisor for practice teachers from the Colleges, ensuring their               conformity to the standards of our school, checking lesson plans and assessing their performance in class.

Cedric Titus High is academically challenged, with a large cohort of students                                              reading below their grade level. I also served as coordinator for the Debating Club, which                                              advanced to the regional finals, defeating traditional and academically                                              accomplished high schools along the way. I was also elected as the staff                                              representative on the school board.
