Monitors, records, and reports symptoms and changes in patient’s condition.
Informs the physician of patient’s condition.
Monitor all aspects of patient care, including diet and physical activity.
Prepares patients for, and assists with, examination and treatments.
Acts as patient’s advocate.
Coordinates with other members of the health team regarding patient’s treatment and procedures.
Responsible for ordering, preparing, administering, and charting of medications and treatments as ordered by the physicians.
Plans and prioritizes nursing care activities / programs.
Facilitates admission, transfer and discharge of patients
Assists and supervises, nursing aids, ward clerks and orderlies.
Keep endorsement sheet updated.
Makes rounds of the ward/unit ensuring comfort and safety of clients.
Assists in the CODE BLUE
Performs procedures scientifically as indicated
May operate a range of medical and or life-saving equipment in the assigned area
Give health teachings to the patient and/or his/her family
