1. Water Quality
a. Analyze water samples to determine whether in-process and clear well water conforms to target treatment parameters such as pH, residual chlorine, true color and turbidity.
b. Adjusts or issues treatment chemical doses when necessary to Plant Operations Specialists based on treatment parameters testing results
c. Determines the optimum chemical dosage to be used in water treatment thru jar test
d. Records hourly treatment chemical usage/drop to ensure correct chemical dosages and continuous feeding of treatment chemical
e. Monitors loading of chemicals and replacement of chlorine cylinder
f. Calibrates laboratory equipment to ensure accurate and reliable test results

2. Plant Operations
a. Periodically checks the operating and performance conditions of pumps, chlorinators,

c. Secure or give instructions to Plant Operations Specialists on adjusting raw water supply or clear well pump speeds accordingly
d. Ensures conformity of water level to limits
