During my experience in Alorica I was able to perform strategic procurement functions, supplies & inventory control and vendor selection & management. Also, I was able to ensure compliance to established procurement guidelines and promoted efficiency alignment by understanding and communicating customer needs and requirements throughout the organization.

 

The responsibilities I had were the following,

·         open code for new vendors locals & International

·         Purchases from all the Company

·         Imports, exports products, clearance customs

·         Contracts with new vendors

·         IProcurement

·         negotiations to get better rates reaching good savings for the Company trying to not sacrifice quality of services

·         Cell phone corporative distributions and control

·         Initiate sourcing activities in Guatemala. Conduct tenders, biddings, price & terms negotiations, vendor qualification, selection, and accreditation.

·

·         Build vendor relationship and manage their good standing, control vendor performance and agreed KPI, and by checking compliance to agreed stipulations during the order process.

·         Identify improvement opportunities and value adding activities with focus on improving turn-around time and increasing efficiency. Ensure compliance of internal clients to the new process and makes use of measurement tools to determine effectiveness.

·         Receive and acknowledge purchase requests, process purchase orders, contact vendors for quotations, follow up on outstanding purchase orders, check goods delivered, and issue items to requestors. Approve and sign purchase orders presented by each Department with DOA approval

·         Maintain files and records of materials, prices, inventories, and deliveries.

·         Perform other duties as assigned by management.

·         Ticket flight purchasing, hotel reservations and negotiations with each local hotel to get a better corporative rate.
