July 1995- November 2015

 

•          Performing the technical support, routine maintenance task, troubleshooting and system improvement.

•           Field Operation and Maintenance of core mobile and fixed network facilities and ancillaries.

•           Troubleshoot Central Office customer Switching and Transmission faults.

•           Hardware acceptance testing and commissioning of new cell sites facilities, Transmission nodes and ancillaries.

•           Prepare weekly and monthly reports for Management on the status of all nodes (OPM, OPAC, RBS, BTS, DSLAM, etc.) in the network.

•Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, to include power routines and

backup, on all network nodes to ensure proper functionality and 99.999% availability.

 

•To provide first line support to all Switching, IP, Transmission and Value Added Network nodes and to Customer Care, Field Engineers, Radio Frequency Engineers, 15 Islands and contractors.

•Provide first line support to external departments and other sections of Technology to

Include the other Digicel islands.
