Duties and responsibilities
Post Natal Unit:
 Receiving post-partum mothers and re-admissions
 Educating and counselling mothers on their health and how to provide best care for baby
 Administrating drugs as per protocol orders
 Assisting doctors on assessing mothers
 Educating mothers on family planning
 Assessment of fundus and lochia
 Taking vital signs for mothers and babies
 Administrating sedation’s as per doctor’s orders
 Be client focused and client oriented.
