Role:
• Responsible for:
o Setting, adjusting, operating machine tools like lathe, milling machines, shapers and grinders
o Planning and making availablility of spares before the comletion of the assihned task
• Tracking defetcs by measuring, examining and test completion units and ensuring conformance as per guidelines with the help of precisions instrument i.e. micrometres
• Arranging fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories and material into machines
• Examining sample parts, blueprints, drawings and engineering information to determine product dimensions and tolerance
• Assuring daily work competion by distributing the work to the assigned manpower
• Looking after centre line steam turbine and carrying out work like aligning, overhauling of turbine and assembling the same
