Description:

Citibank is the consumer banking division of financial services multinational Citigroup. Citigroup is the third largest bank holding company in the United States by total assets, after Bank of America and JPMorgan Chase.

Responsibilities:

· Installation and Configuration of WebSphere Application Server, IHS, Apache Web Server on LINUX.

· Installation of IBM HTTP server along with Plugin. Handling file movement and application service restart.

· Creating new environments like SIT & UAT as per the application requirement.

· Deployment of EAR & WAR files on WebSphere Application Server, through Admin console and Command Line.

· Configured JDBC Drivers, Data Sources and Connection Pools on WebSphere Application Server to connect the J2EE components with Oracle & DB2 Database.

· Involved in configuration backup for the WebSphere Application Servers during critical  configuration changes.

· Stop/Start the Node agents, DMGR, Cluster servers as per the request from Command prompt and Admin console.

· Collection of JVM statistics, garbage collection data from PMI to analyze the application performance and JVM.

· Ensuring that warnings generated by monitoring tool are responded in a timely manner.

· Monitor disk space, logs, verify system logs and make sure all software are working without issues.

· Responsible for deploying, monitoring application performance, log files and provide required information to the developers.

· Having excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to communicate requirements effectively to team members and manage applications.
