Designation (position held): Assistant Manager – IT

Duration: From July 2017 to till now.

Key Responsibilities:

·         GID Management #

o    GID creation for new employee.

o    GID modification when required like update Common Data, Leaving, Time period, User Type, Organization, Location, Sponsor GID and also deletion.

·         AD (Active directory) Management #

o    Create new AD user account both in AD001/AD005 and Legacy Domain (WW888) as per Siemens GS-IT standard.

o    Update general information, organization information & also attribute editor information in AD user properties.

o    AD user account disable, enable and also password reset.

o    Add/remove user both in Security Group & Distribution Group and also update Group Scope.

o    Create/delete/modification of Security Group & Distribution Group and also enable/disable it when required.

·         SCD (Siemens Corporate Directory) Management #

o    Deliver user information data of both new and existing employee of Siemens Bangladesh Limited and Siemens Healthcare Ltd. for updating SCD.

o    Also deliver user information for modify or delete the user from SCD.

 

·         Mailbox Management #

o    Create/Delete both new user mailbox & and functional mailbox using Siemens WindowsPoweshell script and also ensure Mailbox Type, Mailbox Location and LTE Type.

o    Mailbox permission request for user & functional mailbox and also assigns permission for Access Rights, Send Rights & Auto-Mapping.

·         Siemens AdminIT #

o    Create new client in Siemens AdminIT after receiving new laptop/desktop.

o    Initiate reinstall and repair command from AdminIT.

o    Generate BitLocker recovery key and Local Admin Credential.

o    Add/remove main user GID in AdminIT and also provide user admin rights.

o    Enable/disable/lock clients when required and also update client information.

o    Assign various software which are not available in Siemens software basket.

·         Corporate ID Card & PKI Service #

o    Process (designing and printing) corporate ID card for Siemens Bangladesh Limited, Siemens Healthcare Ltd.  & Third Party employees and also ensure their door access.

o    Use WebLRA operator, WebLRA trust center and FIONA to write, rekey, certificate recovery and also revoke PKI certificate when required.

·         File Server Management #

o    Provide user & department wise file server access (both read & write) and also map network drive on user PC.

o    Quota management for user and department wise storage allocation in file server.

o    Create and modify different file screen templates for users to allow and exception image & executable file in server using File Server Recourse Manager.

o    Take regular file server backup using Tape Drive.

·         Manage print service (Y-Soft) #

o    Install & configure Y-Soft in new print server and take regular backup.

o    Add printer in Y-Soft and create CML group like Siemens Bangladesh Limited & Siemens Healthcare Ltd. and also provided group wise access to specific printer.

o    Create user profile in Y-Soft to give access rights and assigning specific role as per management permission.

o    Update & modify user information in Y-Soft like Cost Center, email address and GID.

o    Y-Soft maintaining for enable various system features like jobs history, report download, users & device add/remove, recover scan file & print job etc.

o    Ensure follow me print access & also troubleshoot print server when required.

o    Download user & cost center wise monthly printer usage report.

o    Regular communicate with printing service provider for monthly routine maintenance of our printers and also when required to ensure smooth printing service.

·         Siemens Bangladesh Canteen Management System #

o    Create employee profile in Canteen Management System and update/modify employee information (cost center, department, GID & PR Number, mobile number etc.).

o    Design & print user canteen card and give access on it for using cafe system.

o    Remove access right of employee canteen card if it is missing or after end of service period of employees.

o    Adjust extra food token mistakenly print by users or system error and adjust excess food in system.

o    Regular communicate with canteen management system service provider for maintaining system and also when any accessories needed.

o    Ensure regular backup of canteen management system including user information.

o    Regular crosscheck of food token with food supplier & align it with system and also maintain a excel log sheet.

o    Generate monthly user wise and cost center wise canteen report.

 

·         Access Control System (SiPass) #

o     Add/remove users in access control system to give door access and also add access profile like Muster/General.

o     Ensure regular backup of access control server.

·         Service Now Ticketing #

o    Create incident ticket in Siemens MyIT to having support from Siemens Global IT team for users.

o    Continuous follow-up on pending tickets and give feedback to global team when required.

·         Documentation #

o    Prepare various excel sheet to maintain IT inventory on IT accessories, ID Card accessories and regular cross check with stock.

o    Maintain register for take/handover laptop & IT accessories, temporary access card, printer tonner inventory and also various type of IT documents process.

o    Prepare checklist for all laptop, desktop, server configuration.

o    Prepare checklist for IT clearance after end of service period of an employee.

·         End User Support #

o    Provide day to day end-user support services both physically and also over phone.

o    Add/remove Siemens certified software on user PC including SAP and also configured software as per requirements.

o    Provide guideline to users about the usage of Siemens software including newly added Siemens tools like Circuit.

o    Frequently go to user desk and ask them to ensure monthly security update including system update and newly roll out software.

o    Trained up users for using various IT services (print service, canteen system, portable drive usage, Siemens authorized software using, file management on local drive, internet usage guideline etc.) and also increase their IT knowledge for how to troubleshoot his own PC.
