GEORGIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, Atlanta, Georgia                                                  August 2014 – May 2018

·        Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering with Concentration in Robotics and Automated Systems

SKILLS

Programming: C++, C, Java, Python, R, SQL, MATLAB, .NET Core, TensorFlow, Github

Microcontrollers: Raspberry Pi, Arduino, MSP Launchpad, MyRIO

Computer Aided Drawings: AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Siemens NX

Interests: Mechatronics, Automation, Machine Learning,

EXPERIENCE

Hyundai Motor Manufacturing, Montgomery, Alabama                                                   May 2017 – August 2017

Materials Testing Laboratory

·        Utilized the Tektronix Multi-Signal Oscilloscope 5000 to analyze and decode the CANBUS system used inside all cars

·        Developed a testing methodology for detecting volatile organic compounds inside the cars by using the GilAir 3 Air

sampler

·        Created and tested the Sonata 2018 sun visor redesign in SolidWorks, while also creating a specification sheet

·        Responded to line calls which required on-site engineers to respond to real time problems on the production floor

·        Proposed a methodology for testing paint scratch retouches on the assembly line without disrupting assembly time

·        Created an efficient emissions data collection program by using LabVIEW and Python which collects organic carbons

released by test vehicles

Kulicke and Soffa Manufacturing Inc, Singapore                                                                           May 2015 – August 2016

Mechanical and Software Department                                                                                                            (2 summer terms)

·        Created multiple optimization and test programs in their Advanced Packaging Machine to increase efficiency and reliability by programming in C++ and Visual Basics

·        Developed a library of readily available functions in C++ and Visual Basics for the Advanced Packaging Machine

·        Developed a custom image recognition software using a mixture of OpenCV and C++ to measure high speed displacement to within 50 microns

·        Designed and assembled multiple CAD drawings of the Advanced Packaging Machine using the software NX

·        Optimized the Advanced Packaging Machine by reducing process time from 30 seconds to 10 seconds by efficient programming in C++

·        Developed, prototyped, and drew CAD drawings for customer requested custom parts

Fairchild Semiconductors, Cebu, Philippines                                                                    May 2014 – August 2014

Software Development Department

·        Collaborated with a team of computer scientists on developing Visual Basic code for assembly machines that manufactures semiconductors.

·        Implemented four different programming languages such as Visual Basics, Java, Python, and C++ and applied them to the different assembly machines

·        Developed software improvements and scripts to existing assembly machines on the production line

·        Collaborated with engineers on designing a new energy efficient semiconductor, which allowed me to gain hands-on experience on how to design and prototype semiconductors for the company

RESEARCH

Shannon Yee Research Lab                                                                                                August 2017 – May 2018

Discrete Near Infrared Spectroscopy

·        Gathering spectroscopy data of different compounds found in blood to create a cheap and efficient method by Global Good which is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation

·        Anticipated to publish a research paper on light spectroscopy by May 2018

Anticipated to patent spectroscopy device with Georgia Institute of Technology and Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
