IT Engineer with Elections Cameroon, March 2011 till date

Responsible for assisting Lead Network Engineer in areas of design, configuration, testing, and implementation of IT solutions.
Handle tasks of identifying, diagnosing, and resolving hardware and software problems.
Perform maintenance of the overall security posture of the electoral regional information systems.
Responsible for basic website maintenance like configuring Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS), updating HTML pages, and managing Share Point sites
Responsible for managing disaster recovery tasks such as the backup of user data via Storage Area Network (SAN) and tape devices, and maintaining asset inventory and configuration management plan.
Responsible for assisting implementation, troubleshooting, and maintaining operations of network systems.
Provide desktop and biometric election management laptops support including creating images specific to user requirements and deal with issues pertaining to hardware and applications.
Responsible for configuring and maintaining communications including firewalls, Internet connections, VPN, point to point connections, and remote access.

·         Cisco Networking CCNA 2016 Netriders Sub Saharan Africa Competition : Emerged 2nd in Cameroon and 30th in Sub Saharan Africa out of 97 who progressed to round 2.

·         Cisco Networking CCENT 2015 Netriders Sub Saharan Africa Competition : Emerged 3rd in Cameroon and 24th in Sub Saharan Africa out of 124 who progressed to the final round.

·         Hard Work and Diligence Recognition: The only anglophone in the 15 pioneer IT Engineers selected to work at the National Elections Biometric Center in Yaounde 2013.
