Roles & Responsibilities:
Ø Provide Help Desk support and resolve problems to the end users satisfaction.
Ø Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT Help Desk
Ø Monitor Service Desk for Tickets assigned to the queue and process first-in- first-out based on priority
Ø Assist with on-boarding of new users
Ø Setup and test desktop computer and printers
Ø Install Operating System application software (Windows 7, 8, 10, Server 2012)
Ø Exposure in Apple MAC / IPad and software
Ø Install and Test Application Software
Ø Basic networking concepts to ensure PC’s and printers are communicating on the LAN and to the Internet
Ø Run security scans regularly to ensure no security breaches on end user devices
Ø Maintain Projectors and interactive Whiteboards (SMARTBOARDS)
Ø Maintain inventory of all class room technology items, printer toners
Ø Hardware and Software troubleshooting
Ø Maintain user login accounts(Active Directory)
Ø Operating System Upgrades and installations
Ø Manage printers and scanners and troubleshoot end user issues
Ø Managing the IT Helpdesk portal as a way for users to inform the IT Department of any issues
Ø Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses
Ø Provide on-call support after hours and on weekends as necessary
Ø Assist to identify, plan and procure IT Assets
Ø Escalating the network services, server infrastructure, applications or other “next level” teams.
Ø Comprehensive understanding of Incident Management, Service request management process.
Ø Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ø Able to get hands on with fixing, connecting and replacing equipment without any assistance
Ø Highly motivated and work without much supervision
