A Phase 2, Randomized, Double-Blind, Double-Dummy, Placebo-Controlled, parellel Study to
evaluate Safety and Efficacy in Cyclo-Z with obese Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.
Phase = 2
Population = 64 participants
ENVIRONMENT : Windows 2010 SERVER, SAS Tools
Duration: 1st March 2018 to 31 August 2018
Drug: Cyclo-Z Other: Placebo
Description:
This is a phase 2 double-blind, randomized, placebo-controlled, parallel-group comparison study
to evaluate the efficacy and safety of Cyclo-Z vs. placebo in adult subjects with obese type 2 diabetes.
This study will enroll sixty-four (64) qualified subjects will be assigned randomly to either the placebo
arm or to one of the three treatment groups requiring the oral intake of a single gel capsule of Cyclo-Z
or placebo once daily before bedtime for 12 consecutive weeks.
Roles : Clinical SAS Programmer
Responsibilities:
▪ Generation of SDTM data sets from raw data sets.
▪ Generation of ADaM data set from SDTM data set
▪ Data conversions and transformations using several procedures and functions
▪ Generation of analysis datasets from SDTM (3.1.2) datasets.

▪ Data analysis & customised reports using various SAS Procedures like Proc means , Proc freq,
Proc report , Proc tabulate.
▪ Creating customized reports in client required formats like html, pdf and rtf &by use of ODS.

▪ Applied transformation for structuring, integration & querying the data by using SAS Procedures,
Functions & Merge Statement.

▪ Familiar with Data transformations using Merge, Update and Modify statements.
▪ Efficient in usage of Date functions, Character function String functions, Arithematic and Statistical
functions.
▪ Knowledge of statistical analysis concept with using SAS tools like Testing of Hypothesis , Normal
Distribution , Confidence Interval , Z test Correlation, Regression ANNOVA Cluster analysis Times
series Chi-square test and other non parametric test.
▪ Having Knowledge of drug development process(Phase I to IV) of clinical trials.
▪ Having knowledge of Clinical trials study design like parellel, crossover,single blind, double blind,
triple blind,open labeling .
▪ Strong knowledge in ICH good clinical practice.
▪ knowledge of data structures that are CDISC compliant for regulatory submissions, such as SDTM,
ADaM with mapping and Define.xml data models.
▪ Proficient in generating clinical reports in form of tables,listing and graphs.
▪ Knowledge of clinical trial data likes Demographics (D M), Concomitant Medications (CM) Adverse
Events (A E), Disposition (D S) Medical History (M H), Laboratory Test Results (LB), Vital
Signs(VS).
