Implementing strategies of combating fraud by constantly monitoring lifestyles of employees, impromptu checking of cash points and failure to bank collected cash in time as well as monitoring red flags where employees suspected of spending above earnings are investigated leading to fraudulent activities being unearthed.

Carrying out security audits on several institutional premises that lead to reduced number of security breaches.

Developing and constantly reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (S.O.Ps) aimed at improving security operations and relations with stakeholders.

Conducting effective performance reviews, developing and implementing training and development of initiatives and consistent application of University policy which improve security performance and ultimately crime reduction on campus.

Participated in the establishment of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) in libraries and dining halls and directs the extraction of video clips as evidence in courts. The system employs intelligent cameras with face recogntion, sense and count people as they enter a building.

Formulated internal security controls and identified security risks leading to reduction of pilferage and other organisational threats.

Supervised the implementation and evaluation of health and safety procedures leading to the reduction of on-the-job incidents and accidents.

Dealt with company employees and customers in an ethical and professional manner which improved organisational image.

Vetted newly employed personnel by uplifting fingerprints for verification by Police and carrying out background checks from former employers which improved the human capital base.

Police General Headquarters Sergeant

Researched on conditions of service for all members of the police service and recommended for the use of high powered vehicles by Vehicle Theft Squad or Homicide.

Managed the National Police service members’ disciplinary records by making sure thematic documents are filed in their proper place and no documents are removed without express authority from the Senior Staff Officer.

Briefed the officer-in-charge of the day to day needs of my section and attended sectional meetings with the Chief Staff Officer Human Resources.
