Executive and Technical Duties:
Provide continuous guidance to the contractor on corrosion protection, atmospheric corrosion
control, and cathodic protection (CP) of equipment, pipe, and structure
Ensures that the quality of construction activities in area of expertise (discipline), SHE goals
and schedule adherence are consistent with Company’s policies and requirements together
with national and international standards
Responsible for surveillance of EPSCC contractor in assigned area of construction activity to
ensure contractor compliance with project requirements for construction including quality,
SHE and schedule.
Assist EPSCC contractor with development and monitoring of trade testing and or additional

Day to day liaison with EPSCC contractor opposite number to ensure construction activities

Perform duties involved with installation, testing, and evaluation of cathodic protection
systems and identify potential areas of concern including assisting EPSCC contractor with
implementation of mitigation strategies.
Reporting technical change requirements (MoC)/non-conformance and schedule deviation,
participate in in-line inspections, corrosion management, welding and materials technology,
risk evaluations, structural analysis
Conducting surveillance of EPSCC contractor’s construction procedures and policies.
Specifically Job Safety Analysis, Tool Box talks and implementation of IIF during construction
activities.
Provide experience and guidance to the EPSCC trade foreman and superintendents in
general construction techniques and implementation
Lead value engineering sessions for cathodic protection requirements, review corrosion
mitigation and monitoring activities in the field to identify needed system modifications or
procedural changes
